Terms of Use
Effective: April 2026
1. Scope
These Terms of Use govern the use of the mobile application "ERP Coach" (hereinafter "App"), provided by BTF Consulting GmbH, Sandkamp 1, 22111 Hamburg, Germany (hereinafter "Provider").
By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not permitted to use the App.
2. Description of Services
The "ERP Coach" App is a digital reference and learning tool for SAP users. It provides access to information about SAP transactions, business processes, and data objects. The App is designed for consultants, key users, and anyone looking to master SAP.
The Provider reserves the right to expand, limit, or modify the functionality of the App at any time, provided such changes are reasonable for the user.
3. User Account
The App does not require user registration. Access to paid features is unlocked via Apple App Store subscription. No personal credentials are stored by the Provider.
4. Subscriptions and Pricing
4.1 Subscription Models
The App offers two paid subscription models:
- Monthly Subscription: Recurring monthly payment. The subscription automatically renews for an additional month unless cancelled before the end of the current period. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged to your Apple ID account within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Annual Subscription: Recurring annual payment. The subscription automatically renews for an additional year unless cancelled before the end of the current period. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged to your Apple ID account within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
4.2 Free Trial
New users receive a free trial period of 3 days. During the trial period, the full functionality of the App is available. If the subscription is not cancelled before the trial period expires, it will automatically convert to the selected paid subscription.
4.3 Prices and Payment
Current prices are available within the App and in the respective app store (Apple App Store). All prices include the applicable statutory value-added tax.
Payment processing is handled exclusively through the respective app store. The payment terms of the respective store operator also apply.
Purchases and payment processing are handled by Apple. Apple is not responsible for the content or functionality of the App.
4.4 Price Changes
The Provider reserves the right to change prices for future billing periods. Price changes will be communicated to the user in a timely manner. In the event of a price increase, the user has the right to cancel the subscription at the end of the current period.
5. Cancellation
5.1 Right of Cancellation
Both subscription models may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Full functionality remains available until then.
5.2 How to Cancel
Cancellation is processed through the subscription management of the respective app store:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → ERP Coach → Cancel Subscription
Cancellation by email to the Provider is not sufficient, as payment processing is handled through the app store.
5.3 Refunds
Amounts already paid for the current billing period will not be refunded. The refund policies of the respective app store apply.
5.4 Restore Purchases
Previously purchased subscriptions can be restored at any time using the corresponding function in the App ("Restore Purchases").
6. Usage Rights and Licenses
6.1 Scope of License
The Provider grants the user a simple, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the App for personal or professional purposes. The license is limited to the duration of the active subscription.
6.2 Prohibited Use
The user is prohibited from:
- Reproducing, distributing, or making the App or its contents publicly available
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
- Systematically extracting content from the App or using it in other products
- Using the App for unlawful purposes
- Sharing login credentials with third parties or sharing accounts
7. Intellectual Property
All content in the App, including texts, databases, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by copyright and is the property of the Provider or its licensors. SAP, S/4HANA, and all related designations are trademarks of SAP SE.
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by SAP SE.
8. Availability
The Provider endeavors to provide uninterrupted availability of the App. No guarantee of constant availability is provided. Maintenance, updates, or force majeure may lead to temporary restrictions.
The App requires an active internet connection to load SAP reference data (transactions, tables, processes) from our backend systems. Pure offline use is not supported.
9. Liability
9.1 Limitation of Liability
The Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health. In cases of slight negligence, the Provider is only liable for breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage.
9.2 Accuracy of Content
The information provided in the App regarding SAP transactions, processes, and data objects serves exclusively as a reference and learning aid. The Provider does not guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of the content. The application of information in productive SAP systems is at the user's own risk.
10. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at: www.btf-consulting.com/erp-coach-app/privacy-policy
11. Changes to Terms of Use
The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use with effect for the future, provided such changes are necessary for objective reasons and do not unreasonably disadvantage the user. The user will be informed of material changes in a timely manner. Continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Final Provisions
12.1 Applicable Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
12.2 Jurisdiction
For merchants and legal entities under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Hamburg. For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
12.3 Severability Clause
Should any provision of these Terms of Use be or become invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
12.4 Online Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The Provider is neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
